Cover art for the Palm Springs Life magazine. The feature is about the love of Mexican food within the Palm Springs area, so I figured the best way to represent this was with my interpretation of a ‘Milagro’ - Mexican heart/Corazon. The heart holding the handwritten text holds everything together, I wanted to express the energy and colours of the foods and place around the heart….Palm Springs sounds like sounds like a great place, some of the commissions need to fly me out to the locations so I can get a real sense of place, ha ha...! Obviously it didn’t take much for me to put my favourite Mexican ‘hat’ on!
